Bandile Ngidi
Rural Transformation Project Manager
Bandile Ngidi is the Rural Transformation Project Manager. Prior to joining Oxfam South Africa, he was a researcher at the National Minimum Wage Research Institute, which conducted research that fed into the NEDLAC national minimum wage consulting process. He is a co-founding director of the youth-led, social enterprise called Rethink Africa. The NGO advocates for and conducts research on progressive socio-economic policy. Bandile holds a Master of Commerce in Development Theory and Policy from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is passionate about changing Africa’s economic story, and also has interests in philosophy of science and political philosophy.
